Bax Interaction is a marketing research, strategy and training consultancy based in Cambridge. The company was established in 2005 to provide organisations with the insight to inform and implement effective marketing and business strategies.
We provide the powerful combination of research to identify the issues to address, marketing strategy development, planning and implementation with the training and support needed to deliver measurable results.
The Team
Steve Bax – Managing Director - has 30 years experience at senior and board levels in B2 B, B2 C and not for profit organisations. Steve is an active member of the CIM and the Market Research Society (MRS) as well as a Chartered Marketer.
Steve is a senior tutor at Cambridge Marketing College, one of the largest marketing study centres in Europe, and delivers the Chartered Institute of Marketing programmes at all levels up to and including postgraduate diploma. He has been teaching at the College since 1993 and has trained and mentored over 1000 marketers from the UK and abroad.
Prior to establishing Bax Interaction, Steve was CEO for the UK’s leading food exhibition business, Head of Marketing for a weighing solutions company supplying the food retail and manufacturing sectors and Research and Planning Manager and Branch Manager for a major home improvements business.
Pippa Corbett – Marketing Projects Director - has 20 years marketing experience and has specialist expertise in the professional services sector. She spent over 11 years as Head of Marketing for a leading regional firm of Chartered Accountants, where she led a major strategic change from service to market orientation. Pippa started her career in the food processing equipment supply industry and remains actively involved in the fresh produce supply side of the market.
A Chartered Marketer and CIM Member, Pippa has proven expertise in identifying and targeting relevant market sectors. She brings key skills in marketing implementation to the team with a track record of effective product and service launches and increasing brand value. Pippa also brings project management, presentation, technical and promotional writing skills to the direct benefit of Bax Interaction’s clients.
Josephine Paterson – Senior Researcher - has over 20 years research experience. Her career began at London research agency, Marketpower, where she conducted B2B research in the Food Sector.
Between 1991 and 1997 she worked in the Research Department at the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) in Norfolk working on a number of key projects including longitudinal studies. In 1997 she became the Customer Database Manager for the CITB using her analytical skills to full effect.
A move to Cambridge in 1999 saw Josephine set up as a freelance research consultant. She continued to do work for the CITB alongside other research projects.
Josephine brings her key expertise in research project management and analysis to the team.
